CCTS International Travel Award
The Canadian Connective Tissue Society (CCTS) offers the International Trainee Travel Award Program to support the participation of talented research trainees in international meetings or conferences outside of Canada in the field of connective tissue research.
CCTS offers annually two international travel awards in the amount of $1,000 CAD. Additionally, the awardees will be recognized during the Annual Canadian Connective Tissue Conference.
Eligibility:
Applicant must be a trainee (graduate student or postdoctoral fellow) registered in an educational institution.
The applicant is expected to participate in the next Canadian Connective Tissue Conference.
Applicants must submit an abstract for a presentation at an international meeting outside Canada.
The scientific meeting must have a strong association with connective tissue research.
Application Requirements: Applications should be provided as a single PDF file as an attachment in the online application form, including the following items:
- CV
- Reference letter from supervisor/mentor
- Submitted (or to be submitted) abstract
- 1-page description explaining how the conference participation will be beneficial to the applicant’s training and future goals
