Trainee Awards

International Travel Award

CCTS provides two International Travel Awards per year to support the participation of talented trainees in international meetings or conferences in connective tissue research. The value of each award is up to $1,000. Applications are accepted between January 15 and February 28. Awardees will be notified of the competition results within ~1 month after the deadline. Awardees will be announced and given the travel award certificate during the annual CCTC. For application details, please follow this link.

CCTS Travel Award

CCTS has established three travel awards of $500 to participate in the annual CCTC. Independent reviewers select the awardees based on the quality of the abstracts submitted to the CCTC. For a list of awardees, please follow this link.

Researcher Awards

Lifetime Achievement Award

The Lifetime Achievement Award is designed for accomplished and distinguished researchers in connective tissue research. The CCTS board nominates and decides about one award recipient each year. The awardee is involved in the annual CCTC, presenting a keynote lecture. The award includes a CCTS plaque. For a list of awardees, please follow this link.

Robin Poole Investigator Award

The Robin Poole Investigator Award is intended for scientists with a strong track record in connective tissue research. The CCTS board nominates and decides about one award recipient each year. The awardee participates in the annual CCTC and presents a keynote lecture. The award includes $1,500 for travel and accommodation and a CCTS plaque. For a list of awardees, please follow this link.
